The Puppy Pride flag represents the "pup play" community, an adult role-play and kink subculture where participants adopt the behaviors and characteristics of dogs. Originally designed in 2011, it celebrates the diversity, unconditional love, and playfulness found within this BDSM and leather-oriented community. The blue, black, and white stripes are borrowed from the Leather Pride Flag with the white stripe being intentionally wider than the others to symbolize the vast diversity and broadness of the puppy community. Lastly, the red bone symbolizes the unconditional, non-judgmental, and loving heart of a puppy.
